Can a full scale bench be extruded in clay in one single piece?
Heatherwick Studio’s previous Extruded Aluminium bench proved that the process of extuding furniture was not only feasible but also produced fascinating unexpected results. Alongside Boston Terracotta we investigated, tested and prototyped many ideas and eventually proved that a terracotta bench could be extruded.
